Another busy day today: so it’s another post where I point you toward someone else’s video. Here’s a very helpful video on Mandarin pronunciation for those of you who are learning the language. It has some helpful tips including tongue placement, identifying common misconceptions, and overall focusing on how native speakers pronounce sounds today.
My recommendation is that if you’re somewhere in your introductory journey (somewhat comfortable with pinyin with knowledge of some basic words), watch the video carefully and take good notes! Then, start to immerse in auditory input for the language (shows, podcasts, conversations, etc.)
Enjoy this 2-hour long video!
